Nancy O'Dell's professional career started in Myrtle Beach South Carolina as an anchor and news reporter with WPDE-TV. Then, she joined WCBD as an anchor in the morning and a crime reporter. The journalist's report on the lack of police response to DUI incidents in Charleston caused an investigation being conducted by the State Law Enforcement Division, that led to a revised directive from state authorities regarding DUI cases. Ms. O'Dell received her Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. O'Dell, after her stint at Charleston as a reporter and co-anchor at NBC's Miami WTVJ-TV station before moving to Access Hollywood where she is now a correspondent and co-anchor on weekends. O'Dell anchors the main newscast for Access Hollywood. In addition she has contributed for NBC News Today and Dateline NBC.
